You Will: -Design and develop scalable systems for creator tools, including authorization frameworks, API endpoints, client libraries, and automated testing pipelines. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to expose APIs for our China's creator ecosystem, ensuring high availability and reliability. -Build and maintain high-quality, secure, and well-documented APIs that empower developers to create engaging content. -Iterate on features based on creator feedback, shipping incremental improvements to enhance the developer experience. -Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration. -Contribute to our China's mission of accelerating content creation by optimizing tools and workflows for creators. -Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices in web security, API design, and system architecture. You Are: -Experienced: 6+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on building complex, scalable systems that serve large user bases. At least 1+ years in a senior or lead role as an individual contributor. -Technically Skilled: Strong knowledge of HTTP and RESTful API development. Experience with authentication and authorization systems. Understanding of web security basics, such as CORS, CSP, and common vulnerabilities. Familiar with API development tools, automated testing, and creating client SDKs. -A Problem-Solver: Able to dive into unfamiliar codebases, troubleshoot issues, and deliver solutions that align with product goals. -Empathetic and a Leader: Collaborative with a track record of mentoring peers and communicating technical decisions clearly and constructively. -Driven: Proactive in owning projects, becoming a domain expert, and continuously improving systems and processes. -Adaptable: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to the unique needs of the Chinese market. -Bilingual: Proficient in English and Mandarin is preferred to facilitate collaboration with global and local teams.
